The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
